Tõnis' Tree Nursery
Tõnis’ Tree Nursery is situated on the fields of Pearnahansu Farm – an historical farm that
was founded around 300 years ago. The nursery was established in 1999; however,
gardening belonged among the farm’s activities already during the first
Republic of Estonia before the Soviet occupation. The plant breeder Jaan Raeda
was born in this farm and the famous apple variety “Sõstraroosa” (“Current
Pink”) was also bred here.
The heart of the nursery is Tõnis Tenso, who is a passionate plant lover. He is a self-taught man with a lot of experience.
Tõnis’ Tree Nursery has the best selection of local decorative shrubs in Estonia that are offered at producer’s price. One episode of the famous TV series “Tuulepealene maa” (“Windward Land”) was also filmed in Pearnahansu Farm.
